Ayton Publishing Limited was founded in 2012 as a 'niche' market publisher focussng on republishing past works by overlooked and/or forgotten Scots writers.
Works by and about S.R. Crockett are published under the Ayton Publishing Banner including 'The Galloway Collection' which sees all 32 volumes of Crockett's Galloway based novels brought together for the first time.
HoAmPresst Publishing was set up in 2010 to publish the back catalogue of drama and prose works by writer Cally Phillips. It recently expanded to include the works of new Scots writer Annie Christie.
First established in Turriff by James Leatham in 1916, The Deveron Press was relaunched in 2016 to commemorate its centenary. It publishes works by and related to James Leatham as well as new works by 'unco' Scots writers - work with a particularly Scottish connection. Guerrilla Midgie published ebooks on issues of social conscience. Ayton holds the archives and publications rights to the digital online project which ran from 2010 to 2013.
